Hi, I’m Kenny Waterson.
I’m an Australian filmmaker, creative producer and stand-up comedian based in London.
Through my work in video production, I help people, businesses and brands create, share and connect with their desired audiences. Whether that be through things like podcasts, YouTube channels, live shows or events and brand storytelling.
This site is a place to share projects I’m working on or have produced in the past, things I’m learning, and the occasional personal update from the road.

What I’m Up To Currently – 2026
Over the past few years my work has expanded beyond traditional videography.
I now spend much of my time producing podcasts and helping build creative channels and media projects. While also working on one-off projects for businesses and charities.
Projects of note have been producing the Rich Fulcher TalkBox Podcast and helping film and grow the Barry’s Economics YouTube channel – working across all areas of production, distribution, audience growth and monetisation.
Alongside this I’ve been regularly performing stand-up comedy around London and have now done roughly 100-150 gigs, slowly developing material that will eventually turn into a longer show.
A Very Brief Backstory
From a very young age I have been making films and videos. In fact, the first “job” I ever had was making a documentary film on my brothers football team. Which I then sold to all the parents as a keepsake.
Once I graduated high-school, my Dad advised me to pursue something that I was passionate about. So I decided to study film and screen media production due to my love for storytelling.
With no real clear job pathway in the film industry, during the 3 years study I trialled many industries including film, documentary, YouTube, sports broadcasting and NEWS with a hope of realising what I wanted to do by the time it came to graduating.
Towards the end of my degree I was offered full-time work as a cameraman for WIN news. Though it didn’t light me up like I had hoped it would.
At the same time I had done a couple of videos for business owners and the response I received from them gave me a sense that I could provide real value doing that for other businesses too.
So I decided to turn down the full-time work in a pursuit of freelance video production. Sharing stories that I was passionate about!
I graduated in 2018 and haven’t looked back since.
