I’m Kenny Waterson, a freelance videographer, video editor and documentary filmmaker for hire based in London, United Kingdom.

Origins
From a very young age I have been making films and videos. In fact, the first “job” I ever had was making a documentary film on my brothers football team. Which I then sold to all the parents as a keepsake.
Once I graduated high-school, my Dad advised me to pursue something that I was passionate about. So I decided to study film and screen media production down at Griffith Film school in Brisbane.
Trials & Tribulations
With no real clear job pathway in the film industry, during the 3 years study I trialled many industries within the screen media industry including film, documentary, YouTube, sports broadcasting and NEWS with a hope of realising what I wanted to do in the industry by the time it came to graduating.
Climax
I enjoyed success in all of those industries and was offered full-time work in three regional markets as a cameraman for WIN news. Though it didn’t light me up like I had hoped it would.
At the same time I had done a couple of videos for business owners I knew and the response I received from them gave me a sense that I could provide real value doing that for other businesses too.
Resolution
I decided to turn down the full-time work in a pursuit of freelance video production. Sharing stories that I was passionate about – I graduated in 2018 and haven’t looked back since.
I am constantly learning and growing and have served businesses in multiple industries creating various types of video content.
